Arpeggiating Basic Chord Forms - Varitions
Once you've mastered the basic arpeggios, there are notes convienant to the chord you can add to create
variation to the basic chord form. These variation require very little effort. We generally just add and remove
notes that can be fingered quite easily because the finger we'd use is just right there to begin with. So let's
get busy adding some spice to our basic arpeggios.
G MAJOR CHORD
We will need to switch to using a different fingering of the G chord for our variations. This fingering
will allow us access to the "flavor" notes more easily. The rest of the chords stay the same for the
examples. Here's the new fingering. Take some time to get used to it. (Maybe work on perfecting the new
fingering while you work on the arpeggio variations of the other 4 chords.)
