I consider these the six most important movable chord forms. Mastering these is essential for the student who's a bit more interested in rock and blues music. As opposed to someone who's content to learn basic chord forms and then use a capo to change progressions to another key.

Root 6 - Movable Chord Forms - Major, Minor and Dominant 7th

These first three have the root note on the sixth string. Yes there are other root notes in the chord form but the one that we notice easiest is on the sixth string. Which is why we call these forms Root 6.
